Sarawati Temple is located at Kajeng Street, Ubud, Gianyar. It is exactly in the west of Puri Saren Palace or Ubud Art Market.
The temple is dedicated for Dewi Saraswati, a Hindus Goddess of knowledge, music, art, and wisdom.
It was built by I Gusti Nyoman Lampad (a famous Artist in Ubud) and carried by order of Tjokorda Gede Sukawati (a prince of Ubud Kingdom) in 1951 -1952.
Main attraction in the temple is historical authentic buildings in Balinese Architecture and beautiful pools with lotus and impressive statues.
It is a good spot to get impressive view in Balinese nuance for background photos.
As other temple, The Saraswati Temple is considered as holy place by local peoples. Therefore, every visitor is required to wear a sarong and a shawl when entering the temple area.
The sarong is a traditional fabric which wrap around waist to ankle while the shawl ties at waist.
Tegenungan Waterfall is located at Ir. Sutami Street, Kemenuh Village, Gianyar Regency. It is exactly in the southeast of Ubud Countryside.
The waterfall has a height of 15 meters, picturesque cliff flanks, and also green natures surrounds. The visitors can do some activities here, as one of them is swimming or playing water in a plunge pool.
The pool offers fresh and looks so natural with impressive river stones. Soothing atmosphere will make you feel at home to relax in the pool for long time.
